June 8th marks World Oceans Day

Every year, June 8th marks World Oceans Day, a crucial moment for global attention to ocean health and sustainable development. At Yu Ching Plastics, we believe that a healthy ocean is the cornerstone of a sustainable Earth. We have embedded the Environmental (E) pillar of ESG directly into our core business, focusing not just on protection, but on practicing the Blue Circular Economy.

Collective Effort & Sustainable Product

To actively fulfill our ESG commitment, Yu Ching Plastics was honored to collaborate with the Ocean Conservation Administration (OCA) and the National Museum of Marine Biology and Aquarium (NMMBA) to participate in the grand "World Oceans Day Awareness Campaign."

• Practicing "S" (Social Cohesion and Charity): On the day of the event, we set up a booth inside the National Museum of Marine Biology and Aquarium (NMMBA) to showcase our quality products and conduct a charity sale. We informed the public and attendees that our products are the result of a tangible response to the marine crisis. They are made from discarded fishing nets (marine debris) and post-consumer plastics (land-based waste), processed using specialized technology. This process gives waste entirely new value and life, effectively reducing the burden on the environment. This was more than just a sale; it was a collective charitable action involving both our entire staff and the attending public.
  
  
• Strengthening "E" (Environmental Care and Conservation): The entire proceeds (100% of revenue) from this charity sale have been donated to the Taiwan Cetacean Society (TCS), which is dedicated to the long-term rescue of stranded whales and dolphins and the promotion of marine education. Every single contribution represents our firm support for ocean conservation, ensuring this goodwill and resource are invested in essential rescue, research, and educational efforts.
